Harut went to see miss Martha.
"Miss Martha, my camcorder and portable player have been stolen. I left them on the table when we were going out of the room. On our return we found them missing!"
"Oh, well, there's really nothing I can do about it,"1 was her reaction.
"What you mean you can't? That's ridiculous! My valuables have been stolen from your motel room and that's all you have to tell me?"
"If they have been stolen, then it's a crime. Call police: nine, one, one," she said in a very calm voice.
"But maybe it's one of your housekeepers! The door wasn't broken, neither was the lock! It means no one forced in and it must've been someone who had a key!"

"You never know,3 man. They might find it. They should find it. I mean, they must find it!" said Levon. "If I'm not mistaken4  they withhold taxes from our paychecks for that purpose."

"No, believe me. They are not going to waste time on finding someone's camcorder.
