Better Car Than Bike
He took a taxi and went to 'My sales.' The man didn't lie. There were many nice cars for affordable prices. He looked at a 'Ford Mustang.' It was love at first sight. He liked it a lot. He took the keys and test-drove it. He pushed the gas pedal all the way down. It drove perfect. Air conditioning, power steering, power windows, automatic transmission, power brakes, power mirrors, locks, even power seats -power everything! He had never driven a car like that.
He paid cash (because that was the only acceptable form of payment, probably because of the nature of as-is sale) and bought it. But before he could freely drive it he had to insure it. He drove his car to the nearest insurance agency. He was very scared of getting into an accident before he could even make it to the insurance agency. But fortunately nothing happened.
The insurance seemed very expensive to him: it was about six hundred dollars. But the comfort of owning a car was worth it. After he insured the car a few more things still needed to be done. First, he had to apply for a license plate at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Second, he had to pay the state tax. He was so preoccupied with all kinds of thoughts that he didn't notice the traffic lights and passed the intersection under the red light. A police car followed him turning on the siren. He pulled over, and was about to get out of the car as people do in Armenia in such cases, but was stopped by the officer on duty.
