"Ok. I'll open the trunk. Get your baggage over here."
"How much are you gonna charge us?" wondered Gurgen.
"About thirty-five dollars plus the toll which is around $8 and the tips, of course."
"Ok. And how much time does it take?" asked Samvel.
"Well, about forty minutes."
In about ten minutes they were already approaching the city.
"Where are you guys from?" asked the cab driver.
"We are from Armenia, d'you know where that’ at?" asked Harut.
"Yeah, that's near Italy."
"No, you mean Albania, but we are from Armenia, that's near Russia."
"Oh, Russia, cool. I know where Russia is. So you are from Russia, huh."
"No, from…, oh, ok, from Russia, you won't understand anyway."
"And I'm from Portugal. Crazy life over here, man, I'm tellin' you. You gotta work all the time like crazy, you kno' wha' I mean?" confessed the cab driver with the hope to be understood.
"Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, buddy," said Hakob.
It was a pretty exciting experience for all of the guys. But Anna and Ani seemed to be impressed more than the others.
"Wow, how many skyscrapers!" exclaimed Anna.
"Wake up, this is New York City!" said Harut.
About twenty minutes later they were already in downtown. The traffic was crazy.
